Dr. Charlese Brown holds an Ed.D. from National University, an MBA from Regis University, Teacher Certification from Tulane University, a Master's + 30 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Brown has been selected to speak at local, state, and national conferences. She has authored two books on teacher retention and recruitment strategies. In the classroom, Dr. Brown has kept a steady hold on top-performing students in Louisiana and Texas. Her methods of mentoring teachers have improved teacher quality resulting in teachers meeting their Student Learning Targets and achieving high evaluation scores. Dr. Brown is currently working with NSTA to improve policies on teaching science. One of her goals is to see more students interested in science and pursuing science careers.
